We began looking for a better lure than one might find at any local bait shop or outlet store. We wanted something that no one else had, to give us an advantage on the water. There are many reasons behind our thinking; just about every lure you can buy on the market has some sort of loud clunking rattle. Just about all plastic baits are basically all the same. They are all mass produced and assembled abroad.

But we wanted something different. All lures are proven over time, and each and every one has its place in your tackle box for a given situation. We believe our lures should be at the top of your tackle box.

IGFA Magazine of State and World Records recently reported that the largemouth bass might be one of the most intelligent game fish of all species. They suggest that bass can be conditioned quickly, by heavy angling pressure, to certain lures and may even be passing that information on genetically to future generations.

What this is saying is that bass, especially big bass, become accustomed to loud rattling. Sure you can catch big bass on them, but how many times? As Bass become accustomed to the rattle and the wide wobble of mass produced lures, your catch rate will start to fall. This is not saying that rattling baits dont work or our baits work better. We just believe that to catch that trophy bass or get that huge stringer during a tournament, you need to give them something different.

We do not put rattles in our baits and they are designed to look like natural forage.

Whether one wants to attribute intelligence to a fish, one should acknowledge that full utilization of sensory abilities enhances ones intellectual skills. Bass certainly utilize their sensory abilities much more than modern humans and must do so to survive.

We make the hunted bass become the hunter.
